I recently sat down with a brand new real estate team to discuss the logo and brand they had in mind. Usually I recommend waiting until the worst of the learning curve is over before tackling a logo or brand but in this case they came with a fairly well thought-out idea of what they wanted. As I started to work on it I realized I had forgotten to ask one of my crucial questions to establish if their tastes ran more to contemporary or traditional. When I called to ask, they couldn’t decide and asked for the same logo done both ways so they could decide. When I sent them this file, they immediately picked the more traditional one. Which one do you prefer? I think I like the contemporary one better myself but I have learned the key is to never send anything you couldn’t live with because invariably the client will pick it and you will be stuck working with a design you will grow to despise! lol.
