Wally Lucie & Sons, like many small businesses, started their business first and worried about their business cards later. This is hard for a designer to fathom, but it makes sense from a financial perspective I suppose. Anyway this week Ron’s sister, whom I’ve done lots of work for over the years, referred him and his partner to me. They had a very, very clear idea of what they wanted and just needed my help to create executable files for the printer.  Calling in a designer at the end of the process means that they already had their stylized name (namemark) on their website and were therefore reluctant to change it as it was a huge process for them to get it there to start with. They settled on the namemark with the smaller ampersand for this reason. This will be a high end specialty business card printed on almost cardboard weight stock and stamped with their logo rather than printed. Very classy. And the food looks amazing too. I will definitely be keeping them in mind for catering!

This was the one I recommended because the ampersand works with their logo better.
