Your best interests are what I am looking out for. Honest. Like this week when I received an inquiry about a job that I realized was beyond my current ability. The business owner didn’t need me to practise on them, they needed someone who could help them along. I knew I could take the job and get through it, but it wouldn’t have been in the owner’s best interest. So I told them I wouldn’t give them a quote and explained why. I think they were somewhat shocked, but said they appreciated my honesty.
Nobody can do everything well. We all have our niche. So rest assured if you ask me for a quote and I don’t feel that I can provide you with top notch service in that area, I’ll say so. Because if you aren’t happy with the end result, what is the point?
